Class2Class.org – Connecting Classrooms for a Better World

New Names, Same Vision: Updated Collaboration Types

Class2Class.org is updating the names of our collaboration types to make them more intuitive and better reflect their educational purpose.

At Class2Class.org, we’re constantly evolving to provide the best possible experience for our global community of educators. Starting in May, you’ll notice refreshed names and icons for our collaboration types across the platform. These changes will make your collaborative journey more intuitive and engaging!

New Names, Same Powerful Goals

Here’s a simple guide to our refreshed collaboration types:

From “Let’s Get to Know Each Other” to “Explore Cultures”

Our first type of collaboration is now called “Explore Cultures” with a new icon featuring interconnected links, symbolizing the meaningful connections formed between classrooms.

The goals remain the same: Building strong relationships with peers from other countries, helping students learn about different cultures, experiences, and perspectives, and enriching their understanding of the world.

This collaboration continues to focus on exploring and understanding cultural diversity through collaborative project presentations and meaningful videoconferences.

From “Working Towards the SDGs” to “Explore Global Challenges”

Our second type of collaboration is now called “Explore Global Challenges“, offering a clearer description of the inspiring work happening here.

The goals remain the same: Inviting students to dive into the big questions that shape our world today. Whether they’re learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or exploring what it means to be a global citizen, students work together across borders to understand challenges, share perspectives, and co-create solutions that make a difference locally and globally.

From “Creating Solutions to Real Problems” to “Create Solutions”

Our third type of collaboration now has the more concise name “Create Solutions“, emphasizing the creative problem-solving at the heart of this collaboration type.

The goals remain the same: To foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while preparing students to tackle real-life challenges with innovation and empathy.

This collaboration continues to focus on developing solutions to real-world problems, encouraging students to create projects to solve issues from their perspectives.
