What's Class2Class?
Class2Class is an online learning community that has a platform that connects classrooms from around the world and facilitates Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) experiences for teachers and students.
Through our platform, teachers can establish partnerships with counterparts in other countries and cultures, and engage in collaborative projects and activities with their students.
We believe that by bringing classrooms together and empowering teachers and students to collaborate, we can make a positive impact on the world and create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
Our Approach
Our program approach is centered around connecting classrooms from different countries and empowering teachers and students to collaborate and work towards a more sustainable and equitable future.
That’s why we have designed our program to combine the benefits of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) with a focus on supporting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Learning Journey
Our four-step learning journey takes you on a journey of cultural exchange, global citizenship, and making a difference in the world through education.
In the first step, “Getting to know each other,” teachers and students exchange information about their countries, cultures, beliefs, and more to get to know each other better.
In the second step, we have developed activities for classrooms to collaborate with each other and work towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the third step, students learn to use design thinking to create solutions to the problems they have encountered while working on the SDG activities in the previous stage.
Finally, in the fourth step, students present their solutions to the Class2Class community to be recognized for creating solutions to real problems.
