From Inspire to Discover
We’re excited to announce meaningful improvements coming to our platform this May! Based on your valuable feedback, we’re redesigning how you find and share classroom collaboration opportunities to make the experience more intuitive and rewarding.
Our current “Inspire” section will be renamed to “Discover” to better reflect its core purpose: helping you find, join, or create collaborative projects that connect your students with classrooms worldwide.
A More Intuitive Experience
Our improved Inspire (now Discover) section will maintain all the features you love while offering clearer navigation and enhanced functionality. Here’s what’s changing:
“Explore Projects” becomes “Open for Collaboration”
The popular “Explore Projects” section will now be called “Open for Collaboration” to better reflect its purpose. This is where you can continue to:
- Browse active projects from teachers worldwide seeking partner classrooms
- Post your own project ideas for other classrooms to join
- Find opportunities that match your classroom’s interests and schedule
The functionality remains the same—we’ve simply updated the name to better describe what this section offers.
New addition: You will now be able to see the time difference between you and the project host! This will make planning synchronous activities with partner classrooms even easier.

“Project Ideas” Staying just as you know it
The “Project Ideas” section continues to be your source for ready-to-implement project templates. Here you’ll find:
- Selected project frameworks designed by Class2Class.org
- Easy-to-duplicate templates you can start with just one click
- Templates aligned with global days (e.g., World Ocean Day, World Environment Day, International Women’s Day), allowing you to celebrate them while connecting with other classrooms
These templates offer fantastic starting points for educators new to international collaborative projects or those looking for fresh inspiration.

“Global Collaboration Stories” transforms into “Community Projects”
We’re especially excited about this change! “Global Collaboration Stories” will now become “Community Projects“—a dedicated space showcasing successful collaborations created by our community.
Here’s what makes this update special:
- Projects completed and certified on Class2Class.org will be automatically showcased here.
- These real examples serve as inspiration and templates for other educators to use in the future.
- You’ll see project timeline, collaboration types, resources used, and basic information about successful projects
This new approach creates a valuable repository of cross-cultural classroom projects that have made a real impact, helping our community learn from each other’s successes.
